Personally I think this is a great way to introduce yourself to Clinique mascara and a guilt free way to get rid of that mascara that you may no longer use, but can't force yourself to throw away either.

You’ve no excuse to hang on to it any longer, so get yourself down to your local Boots store (make sure they have a Clinique counter) and get swapped. It’s be rude not to, really!
