I’ve heard a lot of good things about Butter London polishes and seen a lot of lovely swatches on various sites, so when I saw their new spring/summer range for 2011 I thought I should investigate further. There are 5 colours and 2 of them jump right out at me... I think I may need these in my life.
The first one, and main one that I feel I really, really *need* is DOSH; “A molten apple green shot through with gold. DEEEELICIOUS!” – doesn’t it look lovely?!
The second one that really caught my eye was BLAGGER, which is a “Striking cobalt blue” – it’s a beaaaautiful blue don’t you think?
HEN PARTY is a “sheer opal polish” and whilst it seems like it would be fantastic to put over other polishes to create an opal finish; I’m not sure I’d wear it alone as It’s possibly too sheer for my tastes, but I bet lovely all the same – especially if your work are funny about polish!
LADY MUCK is a “powdery periwinkle blue, slightly on the grey side and infused with pearl pigment for a soft, sexy sheen” – sounds very nice indeed.
Finally TEDDY GIRL is a “pale retro bubblegum pink custom featured on the catwalk of a top Brit designer for S/S 2011” and whilst it looks nice, I’m not entirely sure if this kind of pink would suit me unless I had a tan... I could be wrong though (it has been known haha)!
I do like the look of the last 3 polishes listed above, but I’m not entirely sure I could justify having the full collection... could I??
