5 Beauty Lessons to Learn From The Stars!

You may look at the famous faces of the world with a small degree of jealousy. Celebrities always seem to look so styled and chic, with flawless skin and beautiful make-up ensuring they shine out from the red carpet. But all stars have their secrets when it comes to beauty, and many of the regimes they use are easily accomplished at home. If you’re looking for a few beauty tips from some of the world’s most attractive stars, then here are five lessons to give you a stunning complexion in no time at all.

Invest in a skincare regime
Anyone who’s taken the time to browse skincare products knows one fact; make-up can be expensive. But when it comes to your skincare products, it’s really time to invest some cash. Keeping your skin as youthful as possible is one of the best ways to create a beautiful and timeless look, so it’s worthwhile buying the best products available. Gwyneth Paltrow has been a huge proponent of indulging in skincare therapies, and famously underwent a 90 minute Apple Stem Cell treatment prior to the 2011 Emmys to ensure her skin was glowing and youthful. Your budget might not quite stretch to this $350 treatment, but there are plenty of affordable anti-aging products available for any skin type.

Make your eyes larger
Whilst you can’t actually make your eyes physically larger, you can use beauty techniques to make them appear bigger and more alluring. Lauren Conrad famously does this, incorporating light nude tones into her make-up so that her eyes look wide and dreamy. Simply use pale pink, light nude or white shimmery shadows in the inner corners of your eyes and the effect is almost instant.

Stay away from the sun
You may crave the bronzed hues of sun-kissed skin, but the sun’s rays are extremely damaging to your skin. Some of most beautiful stars of all time have kept their looks by keeping out of the sunlight and utilising sunscreen on a daily basis. This has allowed many beauties of stage and screen to remain looking youthful well into their twilight years. Using SPF 30 or higher is advisable, even if you’re in the sun for 15 minutes.

There is a fantastic variety of good quality fake tan  mousse, sprays and lotions available these days, so you can get that perfect golden glow without having to worry about the damaging effects of ultra-violet rays.

Moisturise like no tomorrow

One of the world’s most iconic beauties of all time is Marilyn Monroe, and she was widely known to maintain her gorgeous skin with plentiful moisturising. The star applied moisturisers to her skin day and night, and many of the products she used are still available today.

Utilise accessories and fake it
Finally, if you haven’t got it to flaunt, simply fake it. Troy Surratt, Kim Kardashian’s New York City makeup artist, revealed that blemishes can easily be hidden with a good foundation. Adding long and full lashes give you the chance to enhance your femininity, whilst creating smoky looking eyes will enhance this further. The key to using foundation is to ensure that it’s an extremely good match for your skin tone, and is carefully blended in on the edges of the face.
